Course Overview

Elevate your skills and knowledge to develop the attributes of a Fellow in preparation for the Fellowship Examination in General Dental Practice (GDP) by attending the Preparation for Fellowship Success (PFS). This preparatory program is tailored to guide you through the intricacies of the Fellowship Examination (GDP) and develop a roadmap towards success. Led by the current Examination team (General and Elective) the (PFS) is held face-to-face in Sydney over 2.5 days with an option for candidates to join online. This program is focused on workshops which provide the opportunity for candidates to improve their writing techniques, practicing incorporating evidence-based practices and using references, and how to systematically approach the viva voce. This is done in a small interactive groups hosted by Examiners/experienced facilitators who will guide you through clinical cases, improving your ability to think, analyse and develop management plans for patients in an examination setting. The workshops are interspersed with teaching updates in specific disciplines, study tips and in non-scheduled time to interact with examiners and other attendees. The objective is to provide you with the tools to enhance your performance, allowing you to achieve your maximum potential during the Fellowship Examination.
