Course Overview
This full day course aims to provide the dental professional with an understanding of how to manage the child patient as well as the adult population with special needs including those about to transition into adult services. Participants will gain an insight into behaviour management and treatment planning paediatric patients and adult patients with special needs. Participants will delve deeper into the latest evidence and guidelines surrounding management of molar incisor hypomineralisation and dental trauma as it relates to deciduous and adult teeth. Participants will then engage in a hands-on component where they will have an opportunity to upskill and perfect their technique in stainless steel crown placement and vital pulp therapy in both deciduous and adult teeth.
