This full-day course, led by an AHPRA-registered Dental and Maxillofacial Radiologist, gives general dental practitioners and dental specialists the systematic interpretation framework they need to extract genuine diagnostic value from every scan. Combining focused didactic teaching with hands-on case-based training, the course is designed to be immediately applicable — not just theoretically interesting.Over the course of the day you will develop a thorough, structured approach to Cone Beam CT interpretation covering everything from radiation dosage and indications, through to anatomy, pathology recognition, and the clinical applications most relevant to your practice — including endodontics, implant planning, impacted teeth, and periodontics. Real clinical cases drawn from specialist radiological practice form the backbone of the afternoon session, giving you the opportunity to apply your new framework under guided expert supervision.You will leave with the skills, confidence, and a practical take-home reporting template to approach Cone Beam CT interpretation systematically, thoroughly, and with a clear understanding of when to act and when to refer.Attendees can bring their own laptops or work in groups with provided laptops Please note that while a CBCT Use Licence is not a prerequisite for attendance, this course does not incorporate or provide an opportunity to sit the CBCT Use Licence examination.
